IVF services
Dr Pregs and City Fertility provide In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) services. IVF is a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) used to treat infertility that has failed to respond to other medical or surgical interventions. IVF has been around for 40 years and is now commonly used all over the world to help.
IVF literally means “fertilisation in glass”. The process involves fertilising the egg with the sperm in an incubator outside the body, then transferring the best embryo back into the woman’s uterus in the hope of achieving a pregnancy.

The ability to freeze (cryopreserve) sperm and embryos has been technically feasible and a widely practised procedure for more than a decade. Freezing eggs and ovarian tissue, however, has been much more difficult for a wide range of physiological reasons. Much scientific work has gone into developing the techniques to successfully cryopreserve mature oocytes and ovarian tissue. With the advances made so far, we can now offer such treatment in selected cases.

Dr Pregs has dedicated his life towards improving his commitment to healthcare and fertility for women. He is currently completing his Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
In addition, Dr Pregs has completed further study with the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine to complete a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU).
In-house ultrasounds
Dr Pregs has focused his in-house services to include high-level tertiary scans to identify imaging related to infertility, e.g. 3-D scan of the uterine cavity. And once his patients are pregnant, these in-house services not only save his patients money but has the ability to diagnose mum and babies with absolute confidence, fast.
